    My Pharmacy +

    “My Pharmacy”, maybe, the only mobile application worldwide that contributes to efficient medication management and builds a medicines donation network «share my pharmacy» to people who need medical care. “My Pharmacy +” is here to cover three new needs. a) “My Pharmacy+ for social pharmacies”; an app that helps “social pharmacies” to efficient medication management b) The expansion of «share my pharmacy» abroad c) “My Pharmacy+ Premium”; an all-in-one app that will cover the users’ needs in pharmaceutical area (e.g. medication reminder, on-duty pharmacies)

     

    Frutopia

    Many grocer shoppers – probably the majority – have always described themselves as seekers of value. They shop around for the best grocery deals, clip coupons, buy private label products and reduce their pantries to the items they consume regularly. However – the current recession – the deeper and sharper that most grocery shoppers experienced has unquestionably resulted in a marked increase in the prevalence of value seeking behaviors. More than half of shoppers describe themselves as permanent “value – seekers” while recession caused about 20% to 30% more shoppers to adopt these behaviors as they adjusted to straightened personal circumstances or simply followed a set of perceived “acceptable” frugal behaviors. Today 75% to 90% of consumers are exhibiting these frugal shopping behaviors. What’s important is that a majority – perhaps two thirds – of the newly frugal shoppers report that will not revert to their previous behaviors as the recession ends. Frutopia will use an omni – channel sales strategy, operating both as an online grocery store and as a regural shop. Although, nothing is regular in Frutopia. The customer involvement begins literally the time our customers purchase a product, either online or via the shop. Through our software they part in an ongoing “Change Shceme” process, using our unique and more complex Purple Pledge* pricing model.

     

    “Ithaca”, mobile laundry for the homeless

    Ithaca is a mobile laundry service for homeless in Athens. It aims to help increase homeless people respect. It will operate at discreet, yet well know places, around Athens and will offer free laundry services to the homeless. It will raise their health standards, reduce some of their strain and increase their self-esteem and dignity. Apart from that, Ithaca will offer, at a later stage, homeless people the chance to work as volunteers and to feel active and useful again. In short Ithaca aims to be a small but important step in the race to diminish the social exclusion of homeless people.

     

    YouRule

    YouRule is the first anonymous social network to enhance social equality (due to anonymity) and civic engagement. It reinvents politics in local level by offering a platform for transparent communication between citizens and local governments. It is problem solving oriented and innovative for that reason, since the solutions are proposed by the citizens themselves. It is easy to use even for the non tech-savvy users and cost-effective for citizens and local governments as well. YouRule is the first social startup that promotes in such direct way the virtues of transparency and e-democracy.

     

    “ΕΜΕΙΣ/WE” Collective Cultural Activities

    “We” are a group of people who are interested in constant communication between us, exchange and processing ideas, transforming them into cultural activities. Priorities are: high aesthetics, support of original creation and the increasing activity through a common and cohesive collaboration.
    We aim to establish:
    – A web-site in which artists and artistic groups will have the opportunity to present their ideas, to communicate with each other, putting their creative ideas together and bringing them to life.
    – A working space to produce and present the ideas suggested on the web-site.

     

    Aste-Gi

    “Aste-Gi” (which means homeless people in Greek language) is a Collective and Productive Social Cooperative Enterprise (SCE) founded by four students of the School of Agriculture and the School of Economics in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2014. It aims at a social rehabilitation of people who belong into the vulnerable group of homeless, long-term unemployed and students facing serious financial problems and help their reintegration into economic and social life with the engagement of local public authorities as well as volunteers’ participation.

     

    Effect

    We are a platform that changes education to tackle social issues, one by one, starting with Youth Unemployment. Our program, “explore” develops the self-awareness of high-school students to make them realise their strengths and passions and connect it with what the market needs. This way they can choose the right profession for them. Our program “Success Academy” develops the skills students of Higher Education need to enter the market and start their careers in a way more complete and effective than ever before. Our methods are based on experiential learning, interactive workshops and play.

     

    Code it Like a Girl

    Code it Like a Girl aims to teach girls and women from Greece how to code in order to provide them with the hard skills to lead innovation and close the gender gap in the IT industry.

    The mission of our team T4 is to demonstrate the power of art to shape society, not only by highlighting but through the individual development of the members from that same society. Something achieved by cultivating and promoting the visual arts through experiential workshops of theoretical and applied teaching while using art as a means of psychotherapy.

    Our focus is to aim to trigger the alarmingly high percentage of young people, that in the current social conditions are numb and inert. Another important aspect of this social group is,that it has the weight and power to contribute actively to the social development. Our core value is social reform that will only be achieved through personal development.

    Petrucciani Orchestra

    In the framework of Innovation & Entrepreneurship course, we got inspired and wecreated a social cooperative venture, named Petrucciani Orchestra. Petrucciani Orchestra is a social cooperative enterprise, currently virtual, but it has the potential and the prospect to make a realistic market entry.

     

    BAT EYES

    BAT EYES consists a smart device which aims to help visually impaired persons or partially sighted, transport in a safe way by the use of vibration frequency technology. BATEYES an innovative electronic device that resembles a small remote control.  This innovative electronic device can replace the traditional white cane (or enhance the latter by mounting the device on it) and assists individuals with impaired vision to identify obstacles from afar while walking. Available there is also a special version of the device, fitted with a display, a built-in high definition camera and pertinent software.  This special version of the device is meant for individuals with limited vision or visually impaired people, to facilitate walking at nighttime, to read printed matter, labels, books or road and bus signs etc.
